CHDT Corporation is a management company, providing services and taking an active role in the management and direction of all business units that could benefit from cumulative business experience in a variety of industries.  Common components operated at the corporate level are human resources, financial services, accounting services, legal services, budgetary control, marketing support, information technology, and systems support.  By providing these corporate services for the business units, each unit is charged with focusing on planned revenue growth. Originally formed in Colorado in 1989, it was reincorporated in Florida in 2004 under the name China Direct Trading Corporation.  In June of 2007, the name was changed to CHDT Corporation to properly reflect that although global sourcing with China will continue to play an important role in many business units, other units will not necessarily be involved in China sourcing in the future.

Capstone, established in 1997, is a consumer products company covering several categories, including book and task lights, STP tools and automotive accessories, and the Take line of USB products.  Capstone is an innovator in the growing book light and multi-task lighting categories, holding several product and design patents and trademarks (Timely Reader™, Liqui-Lights™, Eco-i-Lite®), and is engaged in product development, manufacturing, and distribution nationwide.  Existing customers include, but are not limited to:
