About
Geodex Minerals Limited has focused on the tungsten-molybdenum-zinc-indium suite of metals in western New Brunswick, Canada. The work has been divided between Sisson Brook, a bulk-tonnage tungsten-molybdenum-copper deposit and a more polymetallic group of targets surrounding the former Mount Pleasant Mine.  The Company’s management consists of a knowledgeable team of geologists with extensive mine development experience working with such companies as Kennecott, Kamad Silver, & Esso Minerals and Teck Corporation.  The Company’s flagship project, Sisson Brook, is a large, open-pittable deposit located in the central part of the New Brunswick. The most recent 43-101 compliant resource estimate in June of this year upgraded the Sisson Brook resources to measured & indicated status. The overall tonnage increase ranged from 37% at the lowest threshold level (0.025% WO3 Equiv.) to an increase of 134.2% at the highest (0.225% WO3 Equiv.). The measured & indicated resources now consist of 328 million pounds tungsten and 108 million pounds molybdenum at 0.025% W03 Equivalent.  The Company is working towards completion of a pre-feasibility study in September of this year using these new resource numbers.Slated for production in 2011, the Sisson Brook project will account for 5% for the world’s current consumption of tungsten.

Geodex’s second major project is Mount Pleasant West, a large property located adjacent to the Mount Pleasant mine south of Fredericton, New Brunswick. This mine, presently owned by Adex Mining Inc., was operated briefly by Billiton in the mid-1980s and contains deposits of molybdenum-tungsten and tin-indium. Geodex’s focus is on the indium potential in the Mount Pleasant West camp and the company’s land holdings cover what is probably the world’s largest area of premium indium exploration targets.
